Wayne Coger

Wayne writes about retreat: “Retreat is not an escape from the world, but an opportunity to see whatever comes up —and to witness the seemingly inevitable rising and falling of thought and emotion in a spacious, quiet environment. In this open meeting the stormy swirl of memories, stories and images may begin to settle on its own and we might come upon a surprising discovery—that the peace we long for is here, that there is a natural affection and wonder that flowers in open awareness.”
